For our comedic monologue project (Yes this is the same one as in the last post.) my class has learnt alot. One of the things we learnt were how to edit in I-movie as we needed to have our B-roll over the image of our monologue. We also learnt about making B-roll and that the clips need to be silent as we don't want our voices to be cut off. We also needed pad, pad is what sating rolling and action is called, this is necessary because again we don't want our voices to be cut off. Lastly we learnt how to edit in I- movie! So those are some of the things we learnt.
Pad is a very simple concept. All you need to do to have pad is at the beginning say rolling, count to three and say action. At the end of your clip you want to count to three and then end the clip. You may be wondering, why would you need this? Well it is so your monologue does not get cut off. Pad is an important part in all film making and is very helpful.
I was kind of weak in some areas but I was strong in some areas. Some of the areas I was weak in were the timing, as I didn't fit into the timeframe. Another thing was adding effects as I couldn't because it would make my clips to short. Some areas I was strong in were getting the clips to be perfectly together with the monologue. Another thing was that I had clear audio. One way I could improve was to make myself speak slower because my audio was to short.
So I am trying to be as active as possible guys but it's hard I get really busy with school and music and boy scouts and other things so please don't hate I am trying to be as active as possible.
My score for the project based off of students.
